This fall our Wednesday studies will focus on the themes of Genesis 1-11.  Tim Keller describes the main theme this way: We’re trying to get across that the Bible is not a series of disconnected stories, each one with a little moral for how to live, but it’s actually primarily a single story about what went wrong with the human race and what will put it right. Figuring out what went wrong with the human race is actually really important.  (Paradise in Crisis)

This year’s catechism study begins again on October 5 after a break for Oyster Run.  Our next study will look into Lord’s Days 5 and 6 which introduce us to Jesus!  We meet at 9:45 am with coffee and tea ready!  Please contact Pastor Fakkema for more information.

We will celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving at our Second Sunday Potluck following worship on October 12.  We’ll have plenty of ham and hot cider to share. Please bring your favorite harvest themed side dish or dessert.

We will share our first Second Sunday Supper of 2024 on January 21.  Bring a dish to share — holiday leftovers are encouraged!  Pastor Fakkema will be sharing some of things he learned at his most recent Regent class.  Dinner will be served shortly following our morning worship.  Please contact our church office for more information.
