Connect

We believe that although God calls us individually to faith, that call is to live in community with other believers. We are God’s children through faith in Jesus. Children need a place to be loved, and a place where they can learn to love. That family, that community, is the local church. If you’re not currently a member of a church, or are looking for a place to worship, we’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to a weekly service.

Grow

We believe that spiritual growth is an essential part of our mission. We grow by communicating with God in prayer, studying the Bible, and interacting with like-minded believers.

In-House Ministry Opportunities

• Building/Grounds Committee: Provides support for a welcoming facility in which to worship and fellowship
• Children’s Church: Provides a warm and enthusiastic “early worship experience” for children ages three through Kindergarten, and gives parents an opportunity to participate in collective worship, praise, and education.
• Coffee Host: Supplies and serves refreshments after the worship service to promote fellowship and an opportunity to meet visitors.
• Fellowship Team: Enhances worship and family care with visitor follow-up, newcomer care, and special events such as: Easter brunch, the Thanksgiving feast, New Year’s Eve Celebration, ACRC Picnic, Regatta, and other celebrations within the church family.
• Greeters: Welcome family, friends and visitors, and set the tone for our collective worship experience. Help people find the support they might need.
• Nursery:  Provides a warm “first experience” in church for infants to age three, and gives parents an opportunity to participate in collective worship, praise, and education.
• Worship Team:  Supports the church family by leading praise, using vocal and/or instrumental talents, running the PA and recording systems, and runs the computerized projection system.

Serve

We believe our lives should reflect Who we follow. We show our faith, and follow our Master, by serving one another in love. Ours is a Basin and Towel ministry.

Our Mission, as people called by God: We gather to praise God, listen to him, and respond. We nurture each other in faith and obedience to Christ. We love and care for one another as God’s people. We commit ourselves to serve and to tell others about Jesus. We pursue God’s justice and peace in every area of life.
